Moda Real is a non-profit organization whose mission is outreach to teach young girls in the Hispanic community about inner and outer beauty instilling virtues, self-esteem, leadership, friendship and family unity. Through weekly meetings throughout the school year the girls in the program are mentored by older girls/adults.  At the end of the year a fashion show is put on by all of the participants reflecting all of their beauty.

We were asked to create a promo video that gives a general overview of what Moda Real is.  We spent a little bit of time with them capturing some of their meetings, practices and finally the big end of the year fashion show.  For the meetings and practices, we used your standard camera crew but for the fashion show, we brought in an 8ft camera jib with a remote controlled head.  This piece of gear gave us dramatic swooping shots that allowed us to follow the models.  It gives us a large range of motion from high to low shots and everything in between.  The shots came out looking great which really helped the video and tell a good story.  We have been lucky enough to be continued to be called back year after year.
